چکیده
Highlights: There is no correlation between the increase of SGOT and sepsis. Correlation SGPT sepsis was significant founded. Abstract: Burns trigger hypermetabolic stress reactions that cause inflammatory responses. When there a sustained or increased reaction, response can be life-threatening, such as sepsis, significantly impact hepatic metabolic function. After burns, varying degrees liver injury are usually associated with burn severity. This study determined elevated serum transaminases (SGOT/ SGPT) in patients at tertiary hospital Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia, from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2020. descriptive-analytic retrospective cohort design. The data this included demography patients, causes inhalation trauma, severity, transaminase (SGOT/SGPT), mortality, found (SGOT/SGPT) using Spearman-Rho Rank statistical test. Burn were dominated by males (65.2%) mostly aged 26-55 years (69.6%). flame highest burns (80.4%), area above 20% (91.3%), level severity major trauma (54.3%). In study, an 69.6% 78.3%, mortality rate 39.1%, average inpatient days 24 days. test (SGOT) showed insignificant relationship (p = 0.065, p> 0.05) coefficient 0.200. contrast, (SGPT) (p=0.006, p<0.05) 0.296.
